The Forrester Wave™ Enterprise Data Fabric, Q2 2020This week, Cambridge Semantics was named a Leader in The Forrester Wave™: Enterprise Data Fabric, Q2 2020, and we could not be more delighted.

Forrester used 25 criteria to evaluate the 15 most significant enterprise data fabric vendors to show how each vendors' platforms measure up in their ability to accelerate data integration, minimize the complexity of data management, and quickly deliver use cases. Cambridge Semantics received top scores for Vision, Road Map, Solution Awareness, Data Preparation, Data Integration, Data Catalog, and Data Processing. This evaluation, we believe, validates Cambridge Semantics' breakthrough approach to the data fabric, and reflects the feedback we are hearing from customers and partners using our solution to integrate and manage large volumes of data quickly and at scale.

"Cambridge Semantics leverages graph to accelerate data fabric use cases"

- Forrester Research

As enterprises continue to struggle to connect diverse, distributed, complex data across their businesses, according to Forrester, the data fabric has emerged as a "unified, intelligent, and integrated end-to-end platform to support new and emerging use cases", and graph a key enabling technology. Forrester states unequivocally that "graph is the fastest way to connect data, especially when dealing with complex or large volumes of disparate data", and they recommend that enterprises "look for vendors that have invested the time and resources to integrate graph with the data fabric to help discovery relationships, automate the integration of diverse data sources, and simplify data transformation". We could not agree more.

Cambridge Semantics has been at the forefront of recognizing that the semantic graph model uniquely addresses the speed and complexity inherent to modern data integration initiatives. We were the first company to successfully tame Online Analytical Processing Graph technology (GOLAP) and bring a solution (Anzo) to market that meets the scale and performance requirements of the modern data-driven enterprise. Moreover, our position in the overall data fabric architecture - as an overlay, advanced, accelerated data integration layer - allows for many more complex (or simple!) integrations to be practically supported.

Anzo, Cambridge Semantics' vanguard data discovery and integration platform for the data fabric, allows anyone to find, connect, and blend enterprise data into analytics-ready data sets for a wide range of business applications.

To quote Forrester, "Cambridge Semantics' Anzo uses semantics, knowledge graphs, and graph data models to load, map, integrate, and catalog enterprise data, to expose relationships and the connections between data and datasets, and to enable visual data exploration and discovery. Anzo's graph data models provide business users with a visual map of enterprise data that's easy to understand, navigate, and analyze even when your data is vast, siloed, and complex. Customers like Cambridge Semantics' graph model, data catalog, platform support, and ability to support a broad number of data fabric use cases"

We are honored and proud to be a Leader in this Forrester Wave™ and look forward to continuing to innovate and partner with you on your data fabric journey.
